Losing weight is the first step to a leaner body so the first thing you have to do is permanently reduce the number of calories you consume on a daily basis. The fastest and easiest way you can accomplish this is to replace all the soft drinks you drink like soda (pop), sugary drinks and juices with water. Most people don’t drink enough water as it is and that’s bad for your metabolism. That means more of the food you eat ends up around your belly so make sure you’re drinking plenty of water.
Roughly about 90% of the time when you’re feeling hungry or you feel like having a snack between meals you’re not actually hungry you’re just thirsty and that’s a fact! So the next time you feel like snacking between meals what you want to do instead of sucking down one of those high calorie snacks from the vending machines is drink a cold glass of water. Water if fantastic for your body in a lot of ways but is critical to your weight loss aspirations because of it’s ability to reduce the amount of calories you consume.
Unfortunately losing weight and having a lean body requires discipline and when it comes to weight loss discipline comes in the form of sugar. Ah yes sugar we all love it and most of us have a horrible time trying to stay away from it. Stay disciplined and strong as often as possible and follow the workout detailed below to get rid of the fat that’s already around your waist and to burn off that sugar you had after dinner last night.
Once you reduce the amount of calories you consume, you can accelerate your fat and weight loss by exercising. Exercising will not only burn more calories while you’re doing it but it usually also increases your metabolism for a better portion of the day and if you do what is recommended here you’ll reap the benefits of a revved up metabolism for the entire day.
First thing in the morning before you’ve eaten anything is the ideal time to workout and strip your body of any fat that is left on it. When you wake up after a full nights rest you’ve basically just fasted for 8 hours and your body is starving and your stomach is most likely empty! Doing a cardio workout at this time will force your body to burn its fat as fuel and that means you’ll end up with a leaner body.
Performing some kind of low impact cardio will put your body into fat burning mode. By low impact I mean nothing too rigorous where you’ll be breathing too hard. That may seem counter productive but this is the type of exercise that is best suited for burning fat not necessarily burning calories. There is a difference.
If you can’t decide between a fat burning workout and a cardio workout for your hear then interval training is for you. Interval training has been around for several years now and basically combines fat burning exercises with cardio exercise. In a nutshell you go hard for a couple of minutes then you go slow for a couple of minutes and you do that back and forth for about twenty minutes.
So you’re burning fat by working out in the morning and you’re losing weight because you replaced all those sugary drinks with water now what. Now you want to prevent your body from adding more fat. The best way to do that is not eat at least three hours before you go to sleep. Take it one step further and don’t eat any carbohydrates after 5:00PM.
The food you consume before you go to bed normally gets converted to fat. Your body pretty much has nothing else to do with it since most of your bodily functions shut down while you’re sleeping. So don’t give your body anything to have to store away. Again if you’re feeling hungry at night try a cold glass of water before resorting to snacking.
That’s really all you need to start losing weight, start burning fat and keep it off. Drink water instead of colas and high sugar drinks, work out in the morning and don’t eat any food a couple of hours before you go to bed. The key is to stay disciplined and stick to this for at least thirty days so you can see how it works. You will feel better and you will lose weight if you just stick to it.
