The internal hemorrhoid is a condition where you experience blood vessels that are inflamed around the rectal canal and anus. Sizes of internal hemorrhoids range from the sizes of a pea, all the way to the size of a golf ball (in more severe cases). The smaller sizes may only cause a little irritation, however larger sizes can be debilitating.

Symptoms are commonly seeing blood that either coats you stools or is visual on you toilet paper. Many times the indication of internal hemorrhoids will be extreme pain when you are having a bowel movement.

While there seems to be very little scientific reasoning behind the development of hemorrhoids, the problem of internal hemorrhoids can be quite common to sufferers. The usual problems are hard stools, constipation, pregnancy, weight lifting, straining and diarrhea.

One problem that is usually associated with internal hemorrhoids is pregnancy. Most women will contract internal hemorrhoids during the pregnancy because they have an increase in blood flow and blood pressure, or they may experience it during child birth as they will have incredible strain during the birthing process.

Another higher risk situation for hemorrhoids is women and men, who lift weights. This is because of the amount of strain they do while lifting weights. Hemorrhoid prevention tip: In order to have fewer instances of hemorrhoids, be sure that when working out, that you exhale when lifting, and inhale when bringing the weight down.

Often the problem of hard stools, which can very often be the cause of constipation and usually caused by the problems with your diet, can cause extensive damage to the inside of your anal canal and give you internal hemorrhoids. It is important that you increase your fiber by eating fruits and vegetables more often to cut down on occurrences of hard stools.

Another problem, which may contribute to hemorrhoids, is diarrhea, though it is not usually the direct cause. If you have internal hemorrhoids, the condition can be made much worse by having explosive stools and constant cleaning of the anal area.

Lastly the most common of all the conditions know to cause internal hemorrhoids is Constipation. When you have a problem passing your stools, you will experience the stool hardening and drying out while it is in your anal passage. When it does actually pass, it can be very rough on the walls on the inside of the anal canal. The stress of this situation may cause you to develop internal hemorrhoids, because there is a great deal of pressure on your anus.

The main treatment for this condition is usually natural hemorrhoid cures, the temporary solution of creams and surgery, which is the final straw if nothing else works.

The cost of surgery is very expensive as it costs about $1000 and that price can go up depending on how severe the internal hemorrhoids are. As natural cures become more popular, surgeries such as hemorrhoidectomies are becoming a less used method. This is partly because surgery is painful and because recovery time can take up to 4 weeks with hemorrhoid surgery.

Also as a temporary pain reliever, there are creams that offer quick short term solutions for internal hemorrhoids. These creams do decrease inflammation and reduce pain; however they do not cure the hemorrhoid problem. In fact, usually if you stop applying the creams, the hemorrhoid problem will come back.

Natural treatments change by the severity of your hemorrhoids. These natural cures work to completely cure internal hemorrhoids and can easily be found in the local supermarket. Some cures such as natural ancient Chinese food cures are also not that hard to find.

Natural cures are better than both surgeries and creams because they treat hemorrhoids at the cause instead of simply curing symptoms. By actually going after the cause with natural cures, you will get both the pain relief and you will be rid of the hemorrhoids as well.
