Question: I would say my hair is drab and dull most days. Yet those models in hair product commercials have hair that is so shiny you need sunglasses. How can I get hair that is shiny like that?

It goes without saying that the type of hair affects how shiny it can be. By that I mean curly locks aren’t usually going be exceptionally glossy under any circumstances. But there still are things hairdressers know to do to get hair to be shiner. Actually nine of them to be exact.

8. UV rays can wreck havoc on your hair just like they are hard on your skin. So you want to keep them away from it by using a shine spray formulated with UV filters too.

9. Which reminds me, there are two ways to apply shine spray. Either mist it on your hair brush and brush it on. Or create a bit of a shine spray cloud and walk through it.
