Smoking is BAD! Is there still a living soul that doesn’t know and understand this? There can’t be. Media campaigns continue to highlight the dangers so it’s almost impossible to ignore the problem. People that are still smoking after all the anti-smoking campaigns probably aren’t going to are they? Lung cancer can affect anyone, so you don’t have to be over 65 to be affected or someone where lung cancer ‘runs in the family’.
The belief s that you have to be a regular smoker to be affected but did you know that just one cigarette with coat your lungs for a month. If one cigarette can do that, just think how much harm a pack of 20 will do to you. Perhaps it’s time to consider reading some recent articles on lung cancer and see how good you feel about smoking then.
You may choose to ignore the situation but there is no reason why you have to remain ignorant of the facts is there. Prevention is always better than cure and no-one can say that they weren’t given enough information nowadays to help stop a condition that is preventable. With smoking, common sense rarely rules the day with most smokers ignoring the warnings.
Despite all the warnings, it is only when something serious happens to them that some smokers take notice of the warnings. It’s hard to ignore respiratory problems of your own, shortness of breath, hacking cough etc.
To continue smoking, albeit through your neck because you’ve had throat cancer, has got to be the ultimate in stupidity for someone who is obviously in denial about how dangerous it is. Even after seeing this I still found it hard to believe that you could be that addicted or obsessed with the habit.
Evidence that proves smoking causes respiratory problems has been available for sometime, choosing not accept this evidence may cost you your life. Documented evidence and articles on lung cancer are full of conditions that have been caused or made increasingly worse by smoking. It’s not just smokers who are affected either because those of us that don’t would like to work or have a meal etc. without having to breath in other peoples smoke. The case for this is now so strong, more and more countries and places are making smoking illegal in specific areas so isn’t it time you wised up?
