Are you addicted to coffee and needed that to jump start your body? Many of us are doing all that we can to feel that boost of energy to do the things that we need to do. That is why there are caf stores that sprung up in cities that have lots of young professionals to keep them on their toes.
Caffeine today also doesn’t exist in just coffee. Even apples, teas and colas have caffeine. There are even caffeine pills which you only pop in your mouth to get your needed fix.
Also, a lot of energy drinks are being developed in the market and they are gaining popularity even among students who just want to have extra energy to stay up all night studying. These energy drinks are sometimes thought to replace adrenal fatigue supplements, but really, they don’t do anything for your adrenal fatigue nutrition. They just give a quick jolt of alertness and energy in the short term but then there are a lot of drawbacks.
Caffeine just gives a temporary supply of energy but later on, it will give you a certain “crash” and that’s when you feel all the postponed exhaustion. It will hit you like an avalanche, like, perhaps, when you’re in bed and ready to sleep. You will feel like your tiredness has accumulated. Sometimes you may even palpitate and have migraines when you take those energy drinks or other caffeine products too often.
So a quick advice: tone down the caffeine, do not become wholly dependent on it. Next thing you know, you can’t work on that report nor study for exams religiously unless you’re comforted by a nice cup of cappuccino. Otherwise you’re only enrolling yourself in a perpetual jolt-and-crash story. Remember, when you need enough energy, eat the right food and supplements coupled with enough amount of sleep.
