Can Swimming Make You Grow Taller?

While some people consider swimming to be more along the lines of an activity or a sport than an actual exercise, the truth is that swimming is in fact one of the best exercise routines we can use, giving us the type of full body workout virtually unmatched by any other single exercise.
With swimming doing such a great job of exercising many different parts of the body, this naturally leads to the question of whether it also has the potential to increase height, as we know that exercise is one of the key methods used when attempting to gain height.
Firstly, we need only look at other common height gaining techniques to see that they use many of the same motions and techniques used in swimming, which is the first sign.
Add to this the fact that swimming takes place without the constraints of gravity weighing down upon you, and this increases the effectiveness of those workouts even further.
Of course there are many different swimming techniques, so the next question might be, is there one or more in particular that are better to practice than others? The answer is no. You can freely use whichever swimming technique you feel most comfortable using. All swimming motions inherently use the same muscles to propel you forward, and all give you the same full body workout.
You don’t need to be a power swimmer or stay in the water for extended periods of time either. Even leisurely swims in the range of 30 minutes are great for your body. Though an added benefit of putting yourself through a more rigorous swimming routine is the increased levels of human growth hormone that will be released, increasing the effectiveness of your swimming in relation to gaining height even more.
So, the definitive answer is yes, swimming is a great exercise for increasing height, as well as a great exercise routine in general. Performed 3 or more times per week, swimming will be great for your health and great for your height gaining regime as well.
And compared to normal exercises, which many people often have trouble motivating themselves to perform, swimming is also an enjoyable experience, which many people do simply for the fun of it. There’s really no reason not to add swimming to your weekly or even daily workout plan.
