Anti Aging Facial Exercises: The Ultimate Way to Fight the Skin Aging

Fighting skin aging is one of the most common dilemmas that people, most especially women discuss. One way of lessening the lines on your face is doing facial exercises. These exercises can yield great results when executed properly and regularly.
To be able to start the exercise, your face should be properly moisturized. You can do this by rubbing on some facial moisturizer, mineral oil or lubricant. You can also do this by splashing your face with water. Always remember that you should not start with your exercise with a dry skin.
In these facial exercises, five parts or areas of the face will be given attention to. These are the eye region, chin, neck area, scalp and mouth. Exercising these areas of the face will really make your skin look younger and firmer.
Eye Region
Skin aging around the eye area is very noticeable most especially to stressed and sleep deprived people. One way of exercising the muscles around your eyes is to * Put your fingers on your temples and pull slightly backwards. * As your fingers are pressed, close your eyes and hold it for about 2 - 3 seconds * Repeat this process for approximately 20 times.
To obtain satisfying results, you can do this for two sets of 20 repetitions every day.
Muscles around the chin area
To exercise the chin, lift your lower lip and hold it for about 5 seconds. At this point, you will feel that your chin is slightly protruded upfront. After that pull your chin back, stretching the chin area. Do this exercise for two to three sets of 20 everyday. Always remember to keep your head straight while doing the exercise.
Scalp Region
This exercise is also a way to minimize the lines on your forehead and lighten up your face. You can do this exercise by raising your eyebrows and holding that position for approximately 2 -3 seconds. You will fill a slight stretch at the upper region of your face. Next, pull back your ear muscles and let the contraction feeling at the back of your forehead hold for about 2 - 3 seconds. By doing this exercise everyday for five minutes, your face will feel a lot lighter.
Muscles around the mouth
To make your mouth look a lot fuller, you can exercise it by extending and contracting your mouth. All you need to do is put your index fingers inside your mouth and pull it about a quarter to about 3/8 inch and hold it for about 2 to 3 seconds. Make sure that your hands are clean before doing this or else you’ll have problems with bacteria too. After holding your mouth in that position, contract you lips in such a way that the fingers inside your mouth touch each other. Repeat this step 25 to 50 times.
Neck Area
The main problem with skin aging at the neck is the appearance of loose skin in front of the neck. To prevent this from happening, tilt your head backward and make sure that your chin is slightly pointing to the upward direction. Place your tongue at the top area of your mouth and stay in that position for a while. After 2 to 3 seconds, put down your chin with your tongue still placed at the top of your mouth. You can have2 sets having 20 repetitions per day to obtain a better result.
