One of the most common worries and complaints women have when they expect a baby is excessive pregnancy weight gain. It seems like it’s always one of two extremes.

You have had a problem with oily hair since you were an adolescent. It drives you to distraction. You’ve been told by a number of people that it would likely be less of a problem if you just kept your hair short but you like it long. Of course, the issue is not your hair, it is your scalp; hair does not generate oil it only wicks it from the scalp. You’ve tried all varieties of shampoos for your oily scalp but usually by the time a given product has sufficiently controlled your scalp your hair is far too dry. It is extremely frustrating.
Here are a few strategies you can use to cope.
## Be sure to use the right product.
To start with, you should steer clear of using 2-in-1 products; what your scalp requires and what your hair needs are two different things. Be sure to avoid using harsh shampoos as these often irritate and active the sebaceous glands which react by producing extra sebum, the oily substance designed to keep your hair healthy and lustrous. It’s also recommended that you find a shampoo that lists zinc PCA as an ingredient as this actually helps to regulate sebum production. Also, when you’re using a medicated shampoo on your scalp be sure to leave the lather in place for a minimum of five minutes before rinsing it off. Read more »

Many beginning bodybuilders mistakenly believe that barbell bench press is all they need to build a massive chest. And some guys love to impress themselves by bragging about how much they can “bench.” Hopefully you’re not in this crowd because you simply can’t build truly awesome pecs with barbell bench press alone. The standard bench press is a compound exercise that involves coordinated work from the chest, triceps and shoulders. While this exercise is great for building overall upper body strength, it’s not enough for getting maximum growth, shape and muscularity in the entire pectoral region. Read more »
Phlegm is a thick mucus or gel that blocks your throat and nasal passages, usually when there is a viral or bacterial infection in the respiratory system. Your body produces phlegm when there are excessive toxins in your body. The natural reaction is to try to cough it out. However excessive cough can damage the lining of your throat. Some people prescribe honey & lemon drinks, some take bitter herbs or gargling with salt water when you have a sore throat. What about nuts; some people say they are too dry, but they have many beneficial oils. Which remedy is the best to get rid of phlegm and soothe your throat?
First, honey & lemon both have strong anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. (Only buy organic honey as most non-organic honeys are processed at high temperatures that kill most of the enzymes in it.) Honey & lemon juice added to boiling water initially soothes the throat then it continues the healing process by killing the virus or bacteria that’s causing the mucus. Read more »
